Both hikes will depart from the Kalkaska Municipal Parking Lot (Third St and Walnut St), across from the Post Office, Downtown
Let’s celebrate the grand opening of the new trailhead on the North Country National Scenic Trail (NCNST)! The Kalkaska Trail Town Partners invite you to a ribbon cutting celebration for a new trailhead on the Trail. The Trailhead features handicap accessible parking and nearly 1/4 mile of ADA trail to view the North Branch of the Boardman-Ottaway River in Kalkaska.
PARKING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THE TRAILHEAD.PLEASE PARK AT THE MUNCIPAL PARKING LOT ON THE CORNER OF 3RD & WALNUT STREETS. SHUTTLES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO TRANSPORT YOU TO THE HIKES AND THE TRAILHEAD
